Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this website, purchasing any product, joining any program, or accessing any materials provided by The Chi Center.
By using this website, purchasing a product, creating an account, joining a membership, attending a live session, or accessing any digital content, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Overview
These Terms of Use apply to The Chi Center websites, pages, products, digital downloads, memberships, live online sessions, community offerings, emails, videos, audio recordings, workbooks, bonuses, and related materials.
Throughout these Terms, “The Chi Center,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Chi Center and its related offerings. “You” and “your” refer to the person using the website, purchasing a product, joining a program, or accessing our materials.
2. Educational and wellness information only
The Chi Center provides educational, spiritual, personal development, wellness, and Qigong-related information. Our content is intended to support awareness, practice, and personal exploration.
Our materials are not medical advice, mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare provider. You should consult your physician, therapist, or qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new movement, breathwork, meditation, Qigong, wellness, or personal development practice, especially if you have a medical condition, mental health concern, injury, or are taking medication.
3. No guaranteed results
Testimonials, stories, case studies, and examples shared by The Chi Center represent individual experiences. They are not guarantees that you will experience the same or similar results.
Your experience may vary based on your personal history, health, consistency, level of participation, and many other factors. We make no promise that any product, book, audiobook, course, practice, membership, live session, or bonus material will produce a specific physical, emotional, financial, spiritual, or personal outcome.
4. Products, programs, and memberships
The Chi Center may offer digital books, audiobooks, bonuses, courses, live online sessions, memberships, subscriptions, workshops, community experiences, and related products.
Coming Home to Embodied Awakening
The Coming Home to Embodied Awakening bundle may include the digital book, audiobook, companion bonuses, trainings, trackers, guides, and related digital materials. Access is typically delivered through email and/or a members portal.
The Path LIVE
The Path LIVE is a membership offering that may include live weekly practice sessions, replays, a course library, community access, seasonal teachings, and related materials. Membership features may evolve over time as the program develops.
5. Account access and login credentials
Some purchases may require access through a members portal. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to share your login credentials, duplicate members-only materials, give others unauthorized access, or use another person’s account without permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is being misused, shared improperly, used in violation of these Terms, or used in a way that may harm The Chi Center, other members, or the integrity of the program.
6. Payments, subscriptions, and billing
When you purchase a product or membership, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method.
If you purchase a subscription or membership, such as The Path LIVE, you authorize recurring charges according to the billing terms displayed at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, recurring memberships continue until canceled.
You are responsible for canceling your membership before the next billing date if you do not want to be charged again. If your payment method fails, we may attempt to process the payment again or suspend access until the billing issue is resolved.
7. Refunds and guarantees
Refund terms may vary by product, offer, membership, or promotion. The refund terms shown at checkout or on the applicable sales page control your purchase.
Coming Home bundle
If the Coming Home to Embodied Awakening bundle is sold with a 90-day guarantee, you may request a refund within the stated guarantee window according to the instructions provided on the sales page, checkout page, or by our support team.
The Path LIVE
If The Path LIVE is sold with a 30-day guarantee, you may request a refund within the stated guarantee window. After the guarantee period, subscription payments are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing by The Chi Center.
To request help with billing, access, cancellation, or refunds, contact us at support@chicenter.com.
8. Cancellation
If you join a recurring membership, you may cancel future billing according to the cancellation instructions provided in the members portal, checkout confirmation, email receipt, or by contacting support.
Canceling a membership stops future billing. It does not automatically refund previous payments unless the payment falls within an applicable refund window or we are required to provide a refund by law.
9. Intellectual property
All materials provided by The Chi Center, including videos, audio recordings, books, PDFs, workbooks, guides, course content, designs, text, images, logos, names, practices, frameworks, and related materials are owned by or licensed to The Chi Center unless otherwise stated.
Your purchase gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, upload, resell, teach, modify, share, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission from The Chi Center.
10. Community conduct
If you participate in live sessions, online communities, chat areas, comments, group experiences, or related spaces, you agree to participate respectfully.
You agree not to harass, threaten, abuse, spam, impersonate others, share confidential member information, promote unrelated products, post harmful content, or disrupt the experience of other participants.
We reserve the right to remove content, moderate discussions, restrict access, or terminate participation if we believe your conduct violates these Terms or harms the safety of the community.
11. Live sessions and recordings
Some programs may include live sessions, replays, recordings, or community experiences. By participating in a live session, you understand that the session may be recorded and made available to members or participants.
Do not share personal information in live sessions or community spaces that you do not want potentially included in a replay, recording, or group setting.
12. Third-party services and links
Our websites and programs may link to or use third-party services, including payment processors, email platforms, video hosting platforms, membership portals, analytics tools, and external websites.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, performance, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
13. Website availability and changes
We may update, modify, pause, remove, replace, or discontinue any website, product, offer, bonus, feature, membership element, live session, or content at any time.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain access to purchased materials, but we do not guarantee that websites, portals, videos, downloads, or third-party services will always be available without interruption.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chi Center provides websites, programs, products, memberships, and materials on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted access, accuracy, and results.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chi Center and its owners, teachers, team members, contractors, partners, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, products, services, memberships, programs, or materials.
This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of access, personal injury, emotional distress, lost profits, business interruption, or other damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
16. Personal responsibility
You are responsible for your own participation, choices, practice, health decisions, and use of our materials. You agree to use your own judgment and seek appropriate professional guidance where needed.
You agree not to use our products, practices, or materials in a way that is unsafe, unlawful, harmful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Chi Center operates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we may update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of our websites, products, memberships, or materials after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
